We saw "The 40 Year Old Virgin" tonight! It was so damned funny! Oh god, was it funny!! Awesome movie :)

Today is my sister's birthday! Yay! I wrote some funny/cute stuff in her card and made her cry happy tears :).

So, I had dinner and chatted with someone amazing tonight. She is an incredible artist, and a really nice person too! I had an awesome time, and can't wait to do it again (not till Xmas) !!

I forgot to mention that since Tuesday, my ankle has felt like it's back to 100%. I haven't taken any Advil in the last...almost a week, I guess, so that's awesome! And things are really starting to get busy now, and The Shoe Company opened up...yesterday I think, I haven't visited the 'enemy camp' yet.. heheh. There's a chance that I saw one of their associates tonight, she was dressed all in black (their dress code is 'all black' and somewhat casual I believe), and didn't look all that happy (or maybe was just tired). Well, if she was unhappy, it's because I'm not the manager of your store (*shakes fist at them*)! Sleepytime now...goodnight...I know what kind of dream I want tonight... :).

So the girl that came back for the summer...today was her last day. She goes back to school in Kingston (taking Nursing), hopefully she'll want to come back to us again next summer..we'll see :). So, was having her here for a few months worth not getting the job that I really, really wanted at The Shoe Company? My heart says, "without a doubt", and my wallet says, "I'm hungry"... but my heart is writing this entry tonight, so the heart wins! Yay!

Tonight didn't go the way I wanted... I had way too many time wasters, and I didn't really get to say goodbye the way I wanted to. I should know better, because in these types of situations, it never goes the way I want it to, there's always something....in this particular case, it didn't really matter. It never would have worked out anyhow. I'm just tired of always coming to that conclusion...really tired. But maybe this fall will bring better things, you never know!

So we went out tonight to do a late birthday thing for me. We had supper at Boston Pizza.... I wanted to go to the one on Memorial Ave, because they have cuter staff there (the ones at the Arthur St. one are lovely too, but there's more at the other location). Then we went to the Golf Dome and shot mini-putt. My score sucked, but I got a hole-in-one on the last hole and still had a blast! We all had an awesome time, it was great!

Took some early morning pictures, hopefully they will be sent out with the ones I had done on Friday...

Well, jeez, I guess I'd better post something before people think I died on vacation :). Well actually, I did bust up my ankle pretty bad (on the first day, for crying out loud!), but I was able to walk on it a few days later. Got awesome pictures, had a great time, it was wonderful (and I needed it badly too) !!

Still figuring things out with the new picture.... I can't decide what I want to do with it! There's so many possibilities, but I have to make up my mind soon
