Tonight we went to see "Pirates Of The...2", but when we got to the
theatre, it was majorly packed (tonight was cheap night), and the only
seats left for the 7pm show were the 'front row'. So luckily, "Lady In
The Water" was on at 7:10, so we went to see that instead. We loved it!!
I'm not sure why it's been getting such negative, or so-so reviews from
all over, but I really enjoyed it!!
I've updated the gallery with the awesome Eagle Canyon pics, some sweet
sunset pics from 2 days ago, and the secret (!!) wasp/nest pics that I
took today! I had to change my routine slightly when preparing these
images for my website, as far as resizing them is concerned.... had to
figure out a new percentage to downsize them to. I love my new
camera!!! I'm really looking forward to going to camp in two weeks!!
Today is Ryoko Hirosue's 26th birthday! As always (for the last 6 years
so far), I've made a special wallpaper to celebrate the occasion. You
can find it in the gallery, in the 'other' section of design. Happy
birthday my beloved Ryoko!!
I will update the gallery soon with the Eagle Canyon pics (first
photoset taken with my new camera). Not too much is going on other than
that. It's been terribly hot here the last two weeks or so.
So I got my new Canon A620 camera on Saturday, along with my new tripod.
On Sunday (yesterday), we went to
Eagle Canyon, which is a tourist attraction that has the longest foot
suspension bridge in Canada (and the longest one in Ontario too), and I
got my first chance to test out the new camera! Well, I was extremely
pleased with the results!! The pics are so much sharper than what I could do
with my old camera (which still took amazing pics!), and to be able to
make really big prints with those sharper pics is something I'm looking
forward to! The old place online that I would get my 12x18 prints from
has closed down (their website is no longer online), so I've had to
search high and low for another place that would have awesome prices on
that size of print. I managed to find a place, and if I'm happy with the
quality of the prints, that'll become my online printer of choice for
12x18's (and possibly 8x10's).
