I've recently expanded the main page a bit. As you can see, there is a search function built into the site now, though it's only displayed on the main page. New sections have been added below the 'Featured Art'...'my daily surf', which is a fairly accurate list of the sites I visit each day...and 'music acquired recently', which details my latest auditory acquisitions in case anybody cares. Enjoy!

Ok! So in about two weeks (Apr.12th) I have an interview for the Store Manager position at The Shoe Company store that will be opening up here in August! There! That's the big announcement!! Keep your fingers crossed for me!! Freedom is within my grasp :) !!

I found an interesting article here via gapingvoid, that talks about 'we' companies and 'they' companies. I can honestly say that I've worked for a 'we' company (which many would say became a 'they' company over time), and I've worked for a 'they' company too. I've learned that working for a 'they' company, for more than a short amount of time, will slowly take your soul away from you, and make living seem frustrating and akin to a waste of time. It's no picnic :). But trying to find a 'we' company to run to, can be equally frustrating, as they are few and far between.

My pics came in from Photocheap today!!!!!! Yay!! They look awesome as usual, and the 8x10's that I had done to some turned out great too!!!! It was (just barely) worth the wait :). No, seriously, I feel better now that they're here! The next time I go out on a photo excursion, I'll need to take my new monopod with me (when it comes in), as it will improve the shots a bit, because of my (sometimes) shaky hands :).

I can't wait till the new Doctor Who series starts!! I d/l the trailer a few days ago, and I can't stop watching it! I have managed to keep myself from d/l the leaked, non-final-version, first episode of it... I don't want to spoil any of it for myself. I must say that from all the amazing reviews, and from the short taste of the trailer, the new version will definitely be doing justice to the spirit of the old, while making it modern for today's audiences at the same time. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!! April 12th at 8pm EST on CBC (channel 5 where I am).

I still haven't received my pictures from Photocheap yet, it's been nearly 3 weeks! I know they'll come, and I know they'll look awesome... it's just an awfully long time to wait for them.

I get a ton of traffic to my Ryoko Hirosue page. Most searches on google that are done, have my page listed within the first 5 search results, which is great for me! I need to figure out a way to direct that traffic to other parts of the site, or possibly do something else with it....

Something big happened between the last post and this one, and something even bigger will happen in the next couple of weeks, which hopefully will lead to something tremendously bigger. I will make an announcement for the 'something even bigger' on March 26th.

So, a funny thing happened at work today. The Windsor store called with a shoe check, and unfortunately, I didn't have what they were looking for. Then they tell me that they have a bet going as to how old I am, because they think I'm great, and they were wondering!. I was thinking ..." Ok, this is a little strange"... but in a sweet, funny way! So later, when I got a chance to do some shoe checks of my own, the Windsor store was one that might've had what I was looking for, so I called.. and they were all embarrassed that they did that. It was totally fine! And really cute and sweet too, and it made my day (and I told them as much)! So that's really cool that that store thinks so highly of me :)... it's just really really nice of them!! So yeah, I had a great day today!
